Owners of older homes in Foxborough are able to request a house plaque from the Foxborough Historical Commission. A Commission
member will research the history of a particular home and provide the results to the homeowner.
The research typically details the construction date of the home,
previous owners and their experiences in the community. The only fee is $50 which pays the cost of the actual plaque.
The program started in
2000 and there are now over 100 plaques in the town.
